Sharp/Hard/Cold is the approved fanlisting for Admiral Helena Cain, commander of the Battlestar Pegasus on the television show Battlestar Galactica (2003).
     It was approved in April 2009 and compleated in the same month.

     Admiral Cain is crazy. Abso-frigging-lutely insane. She's obsessed with revenge on the Cylons, she has mood-swings like a pregnant lady and she shot her XO (and good friend) in the head for refusing an order. Not to mention what she did to the civilian fleet they found just after the first attack. But (most) of it can be explained in one word; Gina. The Six that had infultrated Pegasus was pretty much what pushed her over the edge. Before that, she was just an average commanding officer, a little uptight with an odd sence of humor who was haunted by what she saw as a small child just moments before the cease-fire of the first war. While none of that makes what she does durring the war acceptable, it does explain why she did it. And it definatly makes her seem more human then monster.
