Previously one of the brotherhood, Wanda reformed with her brother and became a member of the Avengers. Unfortunatally, her power had a side effect of the worst kind; because of her reality-altering abilitys, she began to loose track of what was real, what used to be real and was was compleat fiction. She ended up whiping out nearly half of her teammates before being whisked away by the Professor and her father to a secluded area. But that didn't prevent the X-Men (under the leadership of Emma and Scott) from deciding she needed to be stopped permientally. In a desperate attempt to save her, Pietro used her to create a Mutant utopia that ended up in the House of M storyline and all that followed. Never the less, I happen to love her.
