I love X-23 and when I found this series, there really wasn't any chance I wasn't going to love them. But they're wonderfully drawn and include great depth into X-23's character, so there's more to them then just my first opinion.

X-Factor is probably the funniest current Marvel comic and the collection of characters the most eclectic. It's great how everyone contrasts each other while not balancing the oddities out.

This is for just the 'main' series of X-Men, not the entire franchise. You know the ones, I'm sure.

Layla was first introduced in the "House of M" alternate universe and a main figure in the following X-Factor series. Although she's "depowered" in regards to having lost her 'dragon-esque' look (although never seen, just refered to; oddly enough, she looked 'normal' in the House of M before everyone else lost their powers), Layla is able to "know stuff" about the future. Currently, she is trapped in the awful future Cable came from.

Pixie is the coolest punk-princess style character in the Marvel universe. Her mutant powers are a mirror of a sterio-type E trip; fairy wings and hallucinogenic dust, and her Magik abilities are a trip gone wrong; telaportation disks and a soul-sword used to kill the demons that inhabit hell. But I love her general character, her nearly always positive outlook on life and her fasion sense isn't bad either.

Nori is just so cool. After everything she's been through; family rejection, drug addiction, homelessness... and after all this she still manages to be a contributing member of the New Mutants. Nori buts heads with authority at all chances, similar to Dani when she first entered Xavier's. She's just so good at kicking, and zapping, ass. And she's bitchin' while she does it.

Being the daughter of Magneto and sister to Quicksilver, Wanda really had no hope in hell of turning out right. Previously one of the brotherhood, Wanda reformed with her brother and became a member of the Avengers. Unfortunatally, her power had a side effect of the worst kind; because of her reality-altering abilitys, she began to loose track of what was real, what used to be real and was was compleat fiction. She ended up whiping out nearly half of her teammates before being whisked away by the Professor and her father to a secluded area. But that didn't prevent the X-Men (under the leadership of Emma and Scott) from deciding she needed to be stopped permientally. In a desperate attempt to save her, Pietro used her to create a Mutant utopia that ended up in the House of M storyline and all that followed. Never the less, I happen to love her.

There's so much 'shipper fun in this episode. Also, it's the introduction of Risty which is pretty cool, too.

The interaction between these two in New Mutants (I) is so sweet. They're understanding of one another goes beyond anything any other character have for each other and is a deep bond that can't be broken.

For some reason I haven't quite come to understand, there's not a huge or even medium-sized fanbase for this 'ship. I mean, come on people! It's almost canon in the cartoon and if you even mention the age thing when it come to the movie, what exactly do you call the notion of her sleeping with Wolverine???

Rogue was introduced in Ms. Marvel and was Carol's first major rival at the coersion of her foster mother Mystique. I love Rogue fiction because with Rogue's ability to absorb personalities and abilities, there are so many possibilities and directions that her character can go in. And I love almost any Rogue relationship, so fanfiction's a must.
I was always a Rogue fan from day one of reading her in X-Men, but movieverse-wise, I think I fell for Rogue because of Anna Paquin.

Dani is unarguably to best member of the New Mutants. Her power is essentially unmanaged in MN[I] and yet she manages to keep up with everyone else when in a fight. Somehow, even though (or perhaps because of) she challenges every other thing out of the Professors' mouth, she's unofficially the leader of their team.

Nori is one of the most kick-ass characters in any of the X-Men comics, but she really comes out on top in New X-Men. Her powers pertty cool, I love her attitude and who doesn't love blue hair?
