Awakening is the TFL approved fanlisting for the Stargate SG-1 pilot episode, entitled Children of the Gods.
     This fanlisting was created by Emily. She then gave it to Jackie. Pixie Child then adopted it in January 2006.

     I loved the first episode. There's just so much in it and it's so much fun. So when I applied to adopt it, I really was hoping to get it. And guess what! The character build up flows really well and gives the rest of the show a great set up. O'Neill could have been a bit closer to the movie personality, but I can really see the strict military reg man really working for the show.
